Egypt
In 2002, Emaar Misr, an Egyptian subsidiary of Emaar Properties, completed the redevelopment of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina on the eastern harbor of Alexandria. The new library facility is almost exactly where the Ancient Library of Alexandria once existed.[55] Emaar Misr began work on a $4 billion development project in 2005 initially called Cairo Grand Heights, which was later renamed Uptown Cairo. The project included building an area as a residential, commercial and recreational communities.[57][58] In 2008, Emaar Misr started working at a resort called Marassi in Sidi Abdel Rahman, located along the Mediterranean coast, which includes a hotel with 3,000 rooms, a marina and a golf course. In 2018, Emaar Misr announced the reinvention of a hotel called Al-Alamein Hotel and Resort, located on the Mediterranean coast.
India
Emaar India has a portfolio of projects spanning all major segments of the Indian real estate industry, including the residential, commercial and hospitality sectors. This is a joint venture of Emaar Properties PJSC with MGF Developments Limited of India.

Hyderabad International Convention Center was developed by Emaar Properties and completed in December 2005. The Convention Center was built to accommodate 4,000 seats with the possibility of expanding the capacity to 6,500 seats.[66] It was built by Cyberabad Convention Center Private Limited (CCCPL), a joint venture between Dubai-based Emaar Properties and Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC).
